I will be leaving for Erie on fri. eve and was wondering how bad the lake was stirred up after the wind these last few days ???
I'm coming from Mn. so I don't want to make the trip for nothing. I was out 2years ago after a bad wind and everything was so stirred up the fish didnt bite for 2 days.
any info would be appreciated..

Forecast is for NW gales on Sat so you might want to think twice about making that trip.

I would wait if I were you, Forcasting NNE winds for Fri. & Sat. 30+mph. Snow Sat. 37 degrees. Sun. alittle warmer but uncertain of the winds.Trust me those winds will make 7' plus waves. No fun in any boat!!!

She been blown hard there today and the lake is muddy. It will take a couple of days before she cleans up with no wind. I think it's supposed to blow both tomorrow and Sat.

STAY HOME AND COME IN A MONTH WHEN THE WEATHER STARTS TO CALM DOWN. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SAID, SAT. IS SUPPOSED TO BE EXTREMELY WINDY AND COLD. BEEN WORKING IN SIGHT OF THE LAKE ALL WEEK, HASENT LAID DOWN YET AND IS VERY MUDDY. EYE PROBLEM

I just cancelled my charters for the weekend. Heavy winds, with rain and calling for some snow. Stay at home. Try at a later date. Good Fishing.
Don't come this weekend. it is a mess, and gonna be that way for a few days now.
