Will be fishing outside port clinton on friday 4/14/00. What is the forecast? Has anyone been catching fish? and how deep?

Can't tell you much today. Just moved back to Port Clinton, this morning. Will be setting up and getting my boat ready to launch in the next week. I will be giving updates as I learn more. Might check with me toward the end of the week.
Air temp. is 38 deg, winds are out of the West at 10 knots. Lake is very muddy..

Don't like to give a forcast 5 days ahead because it won't be accurate. Ask again about Weds. if you can. Yes we have been catching fish on the reefs off Davis Besse but will give an update ASAP since the cold snap and the High Winds moved in. Keep watching Message Board as there will be an updated post almost daily now. 1-3" of snow tonight!!!

Erie was as ugly as a $5 hooker this past weekend. ;-) If you are going, you probably want the lake to lay flat for a few days so that the mud can settle out. Friday night the water looked like chocolate milk and the wind got worse after that. Keep you eye to the weather reports! Good Luck!

You may want to keep a close eye on reports this week. It has been very windy and cold since Friday and there is 2" of snow in the forecast for tonight with winds from the N-NE. Check in later in the week for the lake conditions. Keep an alternative weekend in the back of your mind..............
