This is the North Platte Drainage State newsletter, provided by the Wyoming DOW. The head biologist for the area breaks the down the whole region, lake by lake. Seminole, Pathfinder, Alcova and Glendo. Net survey results, stocking rates, water levels. very informative. If you fish this region, it is a must read.

My gosh, that is one excellent read. Too bad they messed up on the Glendo stats (missing), yet they end it with commentary like..."and that means Glendo should be excellent year for walleye..."

I think what they were trying to say in an indirect way is the 98 hatch was a bust. Thats why they can't seem to find alot of 10 inch fish last year. That may not be such a bad thing. They have been encouraging people to keep a limit of small eaters. Two or three strong year classes in a seven to eight year period is good. The North Platte system has a decent snow pack this year and that could lead to another good hatch and year class, in Glendo, Seminole and Pathfinder.
