Mosquito Report

Fished half day Sat.1 fish. Fished all day Sun. 4 fish.Fished half day Mon.and finally found em 12 fish,all on jig and crawler in 10 to 13 feet off of Jewel bay.How come when you just get into them you have to go to work? I will try again next week.(long week end)

hey jigeye,i fished that area and didn't get a bite. i moved down the lake and found some fish.7 eyes, 5 keepers and 20 slabs 10 to 13 in. i'll be back sat. morning,hope to see you there. chumster

How do you think it will be after this rain? I was planning on going there FRiday and trying for some crappie! Thanks inadvance!

chumster,how far down the lake did you have to go? Did you go to the sand bar? I will be there fri.,sat. and sun.I have a Crestliner Fish hawk with a 90 horse Evinrude,if you see me stop and give me a holler.

jigeye, i was just east of the island, down by the park launch area. i went out for a couple hours today and got 3 eyes, 1 crappie(12in.) in 15 ft. water. i didn't stop to get bait and ran out of worms!!!! only had 3 or 4 in the cup.they were hitting green jig and worms. if i can make it tomorrow i'll be the STEELER in the tracker boat. buzz by and wave. see you on the water. kenny, chumster

Are you using a full worm or are you breaking them in half? Did better last year with half a worm. I fished Thur pm caught 5 crappie and 2 catfish. Fished off the Packard plant. also got soaked in the downpour. I hope we can keep a Mosquito report going on this board.

RB i used half a crawler, with an eighth oz. head and chartreuse tail. losing a lot of jigs but its worth it at dinner time. on my way out the door now, see you at the water. chumster

rb, fished with my brother sat. we caught 12 eyes and dz. more crappie. they still hit the jig and worm in 15 ft. of water. use orange head with chartreuse tail. good luck. chumster

Fished mosquito sat.in a walleye tournament and caught about 40 eyes,no #####!The suicide bite was on!Yes im not bulls$#@ing!We even caught a 5lber,my personal best at mosquito.Also got about 8 crappie 5 white bass and a carp,lol.Definately a good day on Mosquito.Tight Lines,Kdog
