Erie Smallmouth

Looking for any info on smallmouths around the islands. Fished around Kelly's Sunday, and Middle Shoal. Tried trolling cranks for eyes only caught one. Drifted with shiners on several schools and did nothing. Moved in to 22ft and caught five smallies trolling. Taking friend up on Good Friday, he would like to catch some smallmouth. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Matt,
Lots of smallmouth being caught in the deeper water 20-23 feet around the reef complex. We caught them north of crib reef in 23' feet of water with a jighead and twister tail jigging just off bottom.
