Got back yesterday 5/6, was there for a week. The fishing was slow, but we got fish everyday. Not many, and we had to work hard to get them. 3 fish from the D can by Niagara, 1 from Northwest Reef, and the rest from South of Green Island, and between Rattlesnake and Green. Our best day was 5 fish 18" - 30 3/4" (that one is going on the wall). The best lures for us where Figertiger Thundersticks and #9 ShadRap - Shad colored. All we did was troll. One boat that launched from S. Bass caught 11 on Thursday drifting green Erie Deries. We worked with some great guys from Ill. who shared info and acouple of laughs - Thanks Senior Deal!
The fishing should get better, hopefully the East winds are gone for awhile. The fishing was picking up on Thursday and Friday with a few more nets flying.
We did get 2 reports from boats that fished the Reefs at night and were getting alot of the males. It might be worth your time to try that one night.
Lots of luck to everyone, and see you there next May.
