erie fishing

went to erie this weekend, and fishing sucks!!!!
we were fishing out of toledo. fished west sister, and light house areas with 2 fish for 2 days. nothing seemed to work. we tried everything in box from jigs to crank baits and everthing in between. only thing that was odd besides the fish not bitting was we caught a male about 24 inches. we we clubbed him with fish beater he milted all over boat. awfull late to be spawning but it seems there still in spawn mode. only advice is not to go

Fishing never sucks----Catching on the other hand!!!!! Well things will only get better.

Was on Erie this past weekend, heard ahead the walleye had their jaws wired shut. Went perching instead, brought home 26#s of fillets. If you want to catch fish go perching. Did manage to get a couple of walleye after limiting out on perch one was a fish O. You have to be flexible sometimes in your plans or be prepared to smell like a skunk. Can only get better I hope. Keep trying sooner or later they have to get hungry.
