I'm looking for input from owners of this mapping system. Are the gps coordinates on target with the contours etc? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. jb

I have Lakemaster software and it is fairly accurate. The accuracy is as good as any lake contour map, which aren't perfect but will get you close. It's zoom-in feature lets get gps spots on target better than the Hot-Spots software, which has a good map but poor gps capabilities. Navigating on the Lakemaster is more difficult than the Hot-Spots because it redraws the map every time you move on it. Neither software is real good for waypoint management, but they are fun to play around with and are nice for pulling the approximate gps coordinates for contours, etc.
Thanks a lot for the info Jaybird. It's a big help.

May I suggest you check out Maptech navigator software. Go to www.discoveroutdoors.com and click on "the map". Check out the 3D contour software... Awesome!
