Any reports on Spirit Lake. 14 year old son amd I are going to try to fish it Friday and Saturday this week. Any Help would be appreciated.

howdy.i went out sun afternoon in dead calm,caught 2 -thirteens ,wind picked up around 4 o-clock and i started to pick up a few nice ones in eighteen ft of water off of buffulo run.tried all colors of crawler harnesses and ended up with red blade with black n chartreause floater beads.had no luck with crawlers .i used large leeches.water was really clear so i think a little wind n chop made the difference.you might consider silver lake in lake park.i hear the bite is on there right now.good luck

Take the boy bass fishing up in the north end of Anglers Bay. It's wild right now.

Sounds like Fish-on might be from that area? I would appreciate and prize a weekly Big Spirit report. I have to drive 3hrs. to fish,I need to make it worth the $1.45 gas. Keep your Drag set!

Thanks for the great advice Fish On we also had a blast Friday on 14-17 inch smallies at the old walking bridge cut, as always all the bass went back.
