Just curious on the conditions on Glendo right now. Has anyone been up there fishing it lately?

I was up there three weeks ago and the fishing was super slow. Two boats, 8 hours each, caught 2 walleyes both about 2 lbs. I am getting reports that it is starting to pick up a little. Can't go this wekend (Mothers Day) but will definetly be there the weekend of the 20th, weather permitting.

Was there Sat and Sun weekend didn't catch anything saw 2 guys in a blue lund catching the ##### out of them.

What part of the Lake were they fishing? My sources say that Glendo bite is starting and from now til the end of June fishing will be good. Peak will be the middle of June.

Do you guy's know what the primary forage is for the walleye in Glendo? Is it gizzard shad? Is this the reason why it slows down in late June?

Hey Goosedawg, wonderin whether you have been to Boysen lately? Big tournament on Glendo this weekend so I thought I'd go to Boysen instead.

Big John, I have not made it to Boysen this year yet, but I heard that they have caught a few around Tuff Creek. The eye's are probably a week out of spawn so you might find a little action around points. I would bet the water temp is still a little cool though. If you jig alot you might be able to do pretty good with a slow presentation, keying in on a school. Sorry, not much help.
