Going to Rainy Lake June 1st, Any tips on fishing spots, U.S. side, bait ect?

Was just there Memorial weekend. We did very well in jackfish bay. All we did was troll sr shad raps in 4-6ft of water. The west end was the best. We caught 40 fish, mostly walleyes and a few notherns.
