After 10 years of a motor home, we are looking for a resort or campground on a lake within 2 hours of Minneapolis to use as a permanent campsite with a pull behind type of camper.

If any one has any suggestions, we would appreciate the input.

Try Edelweiss Campgroung at Sturgeon Lk 218 372 3363. Easy drive up I 35, 1hr 45min. Or drive around Mille Lacs, there are many there. Also Hoffmans on Oak Lake, on Hwy 23 north of Duquette is also a nice small but productive lake. Good luck FISHING...Kaz

Bruce and Besty Babler.

Hook ups, Good Access to Spider Lake, Launch, Docks, Beach, Laundry, Shower house, large game area (Horseshoes, Volleyball, Bocce Ball, etc) Fishing is fair to good depending on your skills. Primarily pan fish, Bass and Northerns, but we have hauled out a few good eye's. AND, you are 25 minutes from Leech Lake, 30 minutes from Park Rapids and great trails(Summer and Winter), lakes and resaurants all around.

Give them a call and tell them E-man sent you.
