Looking to buy one of the two. Any comments or opinions would be appreciated. Also if you know any sites where the two are compared.

I bought a HR and tried it, the electonics work great but you can't see the screen very good. At night the back lighting sucks and during the day I had to adjust the contrast every half hour, and then the right side of the screen was lighter then the left.

I sent it back and got the NCC 5300, works great.

My buddy had the tournament HR and he had the same problem...hard to see the screen. his was mounted under a hardtop too. I've got it up for sale for him on ebay now.
I have the lms350A and absolutely love it.

The screen problems and backliting have been fixed on the NCC models, but even with those, you can't beat a graph with sidefinding capability. Fish aren't always just under the back of the boat. I'm going with the Raytheon 750L with sidescan this year. It looks comparable to the Tornament Master with out the screen problems and less expensive than the Bottom Line NCC models.
