Scott,
I (and Eric/CO) have spent 4 weekends on that lake in the last 6 weeks and have caught everything but saugeye. Bob H. and I will be there Friday am to check out a few more spots, trail along if you want.
Be prepared for any species, bring everything from 1/16 oz jigs to bass spinnerbaits.
See ya at the feast Friday if not on the ramp Friday am 'bout 7:30.

Shoulda tried trolling big cranks off of planer boards. Just kidding David. Thanks for saving our lives with your expert boat handling skills. Those waves were huge!

Man - I do not know what is deeper, the waves or the **it. Really though, I had a vested interest in seeing that we lived through those waves, ME. I won't need to spend any money at Elitches this year after that ride. Remember, they come in series, cut back on the speed while in the series or you'll launch your boat onto the next wave vs. riding out the series. Kinda like jumping a motorcycle and landing on the uphill slope of the next mogul.
Catch and keep those hammer handles up in Elevenmile.

Sounds like you guys must have been caught in the same winds I was in Sunday morning. The difference is I was at Nee Noshe and the rollers came unimpeded into the southwest ramp. Thanks again to the three guys who helped me (white/red Dyna-Trak 201SS)load and I hope the damage to your boat and trailer was limited to the broken bunk. Could have been a lot worse!
