I am going to buy an LCD fish locator for my boat in the Spring. I know this is probably going to open a BIG can of worms, but here goes. What is the absolute best LCD for walleye fishing on inland lakes of Minnesota? I want detail, durability, and lets say that for now money is no object.
LAST EDITED ON Jan-09-01 AT 07:33AM (CST)[p]The new Lowrance LCX-15MT looks like the one to beat. I have used a LMS-350 for years and have grown to trust it to show me fish if they are there. The LCX-15MT looks like a great improvment and I plan to get one this year.

I run the 7520 from Pin Point. It has been a very good unit.
Their customer service is very good.
The new stuff from Lowrance looks very good. I don't think you can go wrong buying anything from either of these companies.

we run the lms 350a and the pinpoint 7520 side by side and theres no question the pinpoint wins hands down .the only reason for the 350a is that we use it for the gps. and alsoits the best possible back up plan if something were to happen to the 7520. with the 350a its a nice back up but thats about it. its pretty old technology. the pinpoint is cutting edge plus the pinpoint has advantages such as networking. no other manufacturer hasthat feature plus thers alot more to it. i highly suggest you go to the next sports show. and really look at the advantages of pinpoint .i think you will agree .do i fish for pinpoint/ yes .do i love their products ? ABSOLUTELY. i sure hope this helps you out .KEEP ER WET &KEEP ER MOVIN!
