I was wondering if anybody fished Glendo lately. I want to go this weekened. I never fished the lake bfore any info would be nice, thank you

I was up there last weekend. We fished Airport bay, Goose Islands, and main lake points. It seems to me that the fishing is slowing down some. The fish seemed to smaller than earlier this year, and had to work a little harder for them. Also, it was a full moon last weekend-could have had something to do with it. We bottom bounced, crank baited, and jigged for a short time. I couldn't get my fishing partners to sit still for a slow presentation. Don't get me wrong, we still caught plenty of fish. Fished Glendo all of last week. The wind was pretty bad nearly everyday. We had a lot of luck on the north end of the lake. Your best bet would be using the north boat ramp. We tried jigging, trolling and casting crankbaits. Casting the crankbaits up to shore seemed to work best. We released 2 24 inchers and a 27 using this method. It seemed the fish were anywhere from 2 to 13 foot of water. Good Luck!!
