Castle Rock has been tough lately I have had my best luck trolling out on the flats in the main lake alot of small fish. It has been realy a let down the last couple of years we just have not been able to find consistent catchs of larger fish. Fished Petenwell last saturday 17 caught alot of small fish drifting stump fields switched to trolling the river channel caught 3 16-18" fish and lost 3 cranks (thats fishing) color seemed to be firetiger shad raps 55' behind boards in 10-15' of water. Good Luck hope the crank bait gods are kind to you.

The main words for both flowages seems to be HIGH WATER both Tim Ellis and I do some guiding over there and the trolling bite has been coming and going for the past few years this time of year.
Yellow river and Devils Island are most reliable for numbers but size is usually small. Petenwell
is jig today troll tomorrow until late June or mid July. Stump fields and 6or 9 to 9or twelve feet breaks near current are most productive there. Have Tourney this weekend on Mississippi this weekend but will try and post Petenwell report next week. Lawrence
