as fare as i know saugeye at atwood are still being cought throwing spoons. off the humps and points. at tappan, me and a friend went out last saterday, hit a few eye's(short).we did hit one nice one about 4 lbs . trolling about 3-5 mph.
i wanted to fish this sat. but i have to work. i'm also a member of the S.O.W.A. but only had the chance to fish 1 tourny. at mosquito. placed 4th. not a real good turnout there.was trolling clown #7 shade raps and perch spoons. 3way rigs on boards and raps on lead coar digging bottom. in and out of the booies at the launch ramp. i'm sure a few outher members will be trolling that same area.

good luck to you.
jim is a dam good fishermen.

S.O.W.A. is the southern ohio walleye association.
for info contact Marci Clark 330-343-6314. as for
small boat and motors after Tappan which is a high
power lake the next tourney is at Clendening the 22nd of July which is a 10 HP lake, i believe Peidmont will follow two weeks after that, also a 10 HP lake. so you will be fine.

when you say your trolling three way rigs is there a reason that three way rigs are better than bottom bouncers?

appriciate any info

oleruff,
i only fish the muskingum watershed lakes,
clendening, piedmont, saltfork, seneca, and occasionally tappan & leesville. i have just started eye fishing this year seriously. i'd like to find others to fish & learn with on these lakes.
