Lived by Gogebic 8 yrs ago, the best time to fish is first ice! Most of the summer you can catch some by drifting Lindy-rigged floating jigs with minnows or crawlers. I have heard lateley that people are getting them on Hot-n-Tots now. Thats the best I can tell ya, good luck.

I just fished Gogebic last week the bite was slow. We had 6" of rain, the water level is high there. They had a big mayfly hatch too. We caught some eyes trolling but most of the eyes we caught were with slip bobbers and nightcrawlers or leaches. The biggest eye was 18.75". The biggest perch was 13.25". I caught some northerns trolling spinners with crawlers biggest was 28" I have been fishing it for years. Good luck!!!!!!
