Erie status

I am thinking about hitting the western basin of Lake Erie in the next few weeks. From what I can tell the lake is hit and miss right now. Any and all recent reports will be greatly appreciated. Like to spend half the time for walleye and the other half for smallies. Techniques, depth, presentation, color, etc would help.

Walleye fishing is hot right now in the Western Basin. Best to tell us where you plan to launch from or fish and the regulars on the board can give you a more local report.

Not sure specifically where, but probably somewhere in the Port Clinton Area. I have a 19' Lund PRO-V, so I could run longer distances if needed. I haven't fished Erie in years so any info. would help.
