Do Pinpoint trolling motors have the capability of following a straight line in a featureless basin as the Minnkota Autopilots do? I use my bow mount to troll from .5 to 1.5 especially when out by myself.

Not as in following a compass heading.
No.
The PinPoint 'automatic' features depend on some structure (breakline, creek channel, shoreline, etc.) to steer by. They do not have a "go straight that direction" mode.
