We got 10 there sun. on top of the bar. Sat was a different story, we got 30 in 4.5 hrs. YEs, the lake was rough 4-6 atleast. The lake laid down on sunday. The harder the wind blew the more fish we caught.

Sat was too much for me 2 waves crashed over our bow of a 25 footer so we went back in. Sounds like you did ok Sunday. I thought I was on the Sandbar Dont know if we were but there were other boats out there so we had to be close.

Hi, We fished from 5:30pm till just before 8pm & got 8 Walleyes on Sunday. We were out a mile further N & E of the pack that was out there.
Approx depth was 47' to 49'. NK 28 spoons were best. Only ran 4 rods.....2 dipseys per side.
#1 at 100 & #3 at 135. We did have to sort thru a few white bass. Only got 1 sheepshead too. A nice afternoon trip. Probably will try again on Friday.
Tight lines!

Caught our 20 fish on Sunday at the 34/10-14 line. Stayed north of the 34 line all day. Fish hit the big dipsy on a 3 1/2 setting 115 back, and a 2 setting 90 back. Trolled relatively slow at 2-2.3 mph. No big fish...biggest was 24 inches.

Not as many sheep and white bass, the farther east you went. I have a 21 ft. lund, so didn't brave the weather on Saturday.

Jet, the fish move a little every day, so you have to kind of move too, but it was slow at a lot of spots and for some guys too. one boat had a limit of 30 in a short while while their buddys right next to them using the same things had 4 fish, so it be just plain fishing luck . good luck and good fishin.

Fished Monday afternoon from 5 pm 'till dark westside of the sandbar. Boated 24 walleyes ranging from 17" through 26". Ran dipseys with stinger spoons and pro kings in watermelon, shrimp, confusion, and blueberry muffin, #1 @65 back, #3 @135 back. As it got darker the fish started moving up higher. Caught quite few white bass, and one that was 17"long :)(fish ohio).

There were only a few other boats out there and they stayed south of us.

Is anyone using any reef runners or thundersticks and catching 'eyes consistently yet?

Sorry Den,

I didn't mean your numbers were bad. We didn't fish for very long so we couldn't find them. You have put me on fish before and I appreciate it.

Today (Fri.) the fish were west of Vermilion about 4 miles, and in deeper water(40 to 43 foot), we got lots of whitebass, and also a lot of small eyes(good to see)we fished from the 27/24 lines to the 2829 lines, and caught a lot of eyes, we brought in 9 the biggest was a hair short of 30 inches, another was 28 and the rest were about 18 to23 inches. copper, gold, and watermelon stingers in the morning, and green colors after 11am. but that was today, tomorrow it may be different. good luck and good fishin.
