I fished the Sterling State Park area last weekend. Here's my report: Friday evening I caught 4 small ones I threw back. Trolling and casting crawler harnesses. Lots of small white bass, especially on crawlers. Lots of "short bites". Mostly 22-24 ft in front of Twin Stacks by the channel markers. Saturday was pretty windy. I fished hard and ended up with 7. Most were trolling a dipsey and stinger spoon in 'green puke'. Most at 23-24 near fermi, the two nuke cooling towers. Fished Sunday until 10 am and landed two, lost one off Stoney Point.

The number one biggest problem was.... WEEDS.... weeds everywhere, at least where I marked fish. If I found a spot with no weeds I marked no fish and got no strikes. Good luck and keep us posted.

Today, Wednesday, we trolled from the outer set of buoys in front of 2 stacks to near MacDonalds buoy.
Fished for 4-1/2 hours starting at 8:30 AM.
We caught 9 nice sized walleye 17 - 20". They took both crankbaits and Scorpion spoons. Walleyes were very tight to the bottom.
Bonus were the perch that were taking the spoons. One perch was 11" long.
