After the 4-6 ft. waves on Thursday and projected for Friday, any experienced Erie anglers care to predict what conditions will be like for the weekend? Water calarity?

My best guess would be "not good". It will take a couple of days for the lake to lay down and clear up IF the weather gets better.

Light wind this morning from the NW. I plan on fishing deeper water on Saturday - 20 to 24 ft. The shallower water may be riled up.
I was out on Wednesday in the 2 stacks, Sputnik and MacDonalds area and the floating weed situation had improved greatly from last weekend. Hope it is still that way. Good luck.

Thanks Dean and Bob. I tried fishing this Thursday and didn't want to battle 4-5 footers. The fish seem to still be around (marked a lot)in 18 ft. of water off Bolles. Fished about 1/2 hour in the waves, caught one and retreated to harbor. Anyone fish on Friday? A report would be great. Good fishing to all.

I found a lot of weeds near 2 stack's outer buoys.
We trolled in the direction of MacDonalds. There is a nice school of fish near MacDonalds - and NO weeds. The fish were in 22 - 24 ft. of water just to the west of the channel. We boated 10 walleyes for the day.
We had better results with Hot-N-Tots of the boards than with spoons. The fish were pretty tight to the bottom all day.
