Salorville Resivoir?. Central Iowa

Any body been fishing Salorville this past week?. Any reports besides the dnr report of spotty eyes in less than 10' on jig and minnow combo's?. I'm not buying bait. Any body having any luck trolling cranks?. "COMA"

Sorry Coma I dont have any info on sailorville Iam also a sceptic. Howd you do fishing in IA this year? I heard stormlake was great but I never made it. Lets us know how you do in Polk Co.

Have had a great year. Only had two bad outings. Storm was great from third week of may to the fouth of july. spirit was good from opener to late june. Missed out on the salorville bite. it was going good then the river came up and it slowed down. The river has dropped way down again So I was thinking about giving it a shot down there. Went to rathbun once had good success for big fish but only one keeper sized fish. Corneila was good in mid may. Brushy was hot for 16- 19"ers but has slowed. Have not been to the missisippi yet. Thinking about hitting the last iowa trail tourny there in sept. West and spirit should start to go again next month. If I go to salorville I willpost the results. "COMA"
