going this weekend looking for the river condition and hows the bite.Is the river still low? thanks,,john mannerino

There has been a decent wingdam bit the last few weeks. the river has been at a normal summer level now for a few weeks. Lindy rigs with leeches or crawlers have been pretty good as well as casting cranks. Chartruse wallydivers are real good. We got run off the river last weekend in the middle of a hot bite (thanks to Gore) but we pulled in quite a few fish in the 17-18" range and one at 27 1/2 but then Gore came thru and we were forced off the river.
