Hello all
I know that im a little late on this report, Dad, Brother, and friend went out of Turtle creek Sat.(16) This was the first time that we were going to go out fish all day and stay on the boat over night, and fish Sunday We left Sat. morning, and headed for the north, west side of Rattle snake. We fished there for about 2 hrs, and then we went noth to the border or i guess you could say that i went north to the fishing nets. They seem to run down the border line, and they were everywhere. Anyway we went from there to the north side of Kellys for about 2hrs. We then went straight East untill I think we were straight out from Huron, Vermillion area. We fished ther efor a few hrs. and the water clarity was alot better. From there we went north to the borderand finished out the evening there. We ended up anchoring on the east side of middle bass. It was a fun night, but when we got up the wind changed a little and the we decided to head for turtle creek dock. We ended up keeping one walleye, and letting two back(Small)The waves on Sat. were almost to high to get our harness down, and on Sun morning I had a few come over the front, but we had plenty of boat (28') Welll i guess i can say we had a good experince. Even though we never caught many fish we still played cards and ate hotdogs and beans on the boat. I hope the fishing is better this week, although it dosnt sound a lot better down south of Columbus. Good luck to all and remember to be safe. I can say that is a good fish story to tell some night. sorry so long.
