Highlander, where did you stay? I haven't been to Canada in 7 years, and not around the French or Pickerel Rivers in over 10 years.

I'm planning a trip next year and looking for any good info on lodging and fishing in this region. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

Rob, there can be some real good fishing on the french river, eyes, and pike, and musky . i have been going there for 36 years and enjoy it every year. i got to the lower french, but have fished both the upper french , as well as the lower. it is like any place that there is fishing involved, there can be good days and bad ones, sometimes even weeks either way. of course it is usually weather related. have fun. good luck and good fishin.
