I was wondering if anyone had been up to Tobin & if the big fish were in the river yet?

I have had a few people I know up there in the past 3 weeks. One group fished 3 days with basically minnows and bottom bouncers and did lousy. Another group of good fisherman went up there and cranked in 16-20' and caught two 12's two 11's and a 10 in three days. They said bite was extremely slow. Another group was up and managed an eight. The bite has been slow. I think though that in late oct. it'll get better. I think you have to fish closer to the powerplant near nipawin and at night. We we're up a couple years ago and did real well after 10pm at night in 3-6' of water.
