Hi I'v read the last # of post's re: highend rod's ... to each there own! I will agree with one poster, once you get a true taste of "sensitivity" it can be an addiction! THE QUESTION which do you prefer - Techna AV. or- IMX. rod - 7ft. casting MH. Thanks.

Dave I believe they are both excellent rods. You can't go wrong with either one in my book. I would suggest you buy which ever one fits your hand the best. In my case it's the Techna. I do own 2 IMX, but have 7 Techna's. About the only bad thing I can say about the Techna's is the rod tip and first couple of eyes are awful small in diameter. So once it get's below freezing they get put away for the winter and I rely more on the IMX'S or Gold Wings. Hang A Wall Hanger HUTCH

Give the new HMG-AV a try. THese rods are simply incredible. I got to fish a few last fall and they will be the most prevelant rod in my lockers this year. Sensitivity of Techna with the durability ag the HMG Graphite. Unbeatable combination. The new titanium guides make the rod so much lighter than anything else out there.
Keep the line tight,
