Caught a 29" LBDN walleye a couple of weeks ago and like an idiot I didn't measure the girth. However, this was probably the fattest walleye I have ever seen. I think the girth easily exceeded 15". Anyone else caught a similar size eye on LBDN or any guesses on her weight. Also, where could I get a reproduction. Thanks for the help.

that fish most likely went about 10 to 10.5 lbs. I was catching 27.5 inch fish and they were going about 8 to 8.5 lbs. Hope this helps I don't know where you can get a reproduction.

I carry a Northland Tackle Catch and Release Conversion chart. They list a 29inch fish at 9 pounds which I consider fairly accurate unless you get an egg laden female. I have an 11.4 pound that was 32 inches, caught in October, my buddy has a 13.1 that was 31 inches, caught in early April. In any event, it's a great fish. Congratulations!! Jigger

Congratulations !!!!!

If it was a fat Little Bay de Noc Walleye full of eggs like the ones I've seen, you're in the 10 pound club. Be proud

If you caught that "hawgeye" on the Red or Traverse Bay on Pine Falls, I bet it goes over 10 without a problem. I have caught many 10lb plus eyes there that were in the 29" range. Great fish!
