I've been using MapSource 3.05 (Roads & Red) with my GPS III+ for about a year now, and I like it. After each use I download my waypoints and tracks to my PC and then can view it better from my screen. I'll measure distances and generally study what I've marked and where I've been

I've played around a little, and I can't seem to figure out if you can save individual screen shots in a picture format (.jpg maybe) such that fishing buddies can e-mail them around.

Has anyone tried this? Good spots are not for posting on the net I know, but it would be nice to be able to share with friends.

Brad, You might try this. On you key board you should have a "Print Screen" button. On my key board is on upper row of keys above the arrow keys. Anyway hitting the "Print Screen" button copies the entire content of your computer screen to your clipboard. Go into any program such as Microsoft Paint and paste the image onto the screen. You can crop the image if you don't want to show the entire screen. Paint allows you to save the file in a .jpg format so can send to your friends just like any other photo.

If you have multiple windows on your screen and you only want the top window hit alt + Print screen and you will only copy the top window to your clip board.

Try Ctrl & print screen (simultaneously). This should show-up in MS Paint. Save as a BMP file. You may need to compress prior to e-mail. Good luck!
