just wondering if anyone knew where these are made, right here in the us or overseas somewhere?the reason i ask is that i live in canada and will have to pay a large duty on the rods when they cross the line unless they are made in the states.I am also wondering if any one has any expierence with them,as i am looking at buying 9 of them.thanks.

If your talking about the P/K rods in bass pro magazine
i'm using 4 of them for trolling 2 7'6" and 2 8'6" and they preform just fine.

Great rods, mine only have the model and Bass Pro shops or walleye angler on them.

I can't say this across the board, but most of the stuff I've bought from them says made in Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh or some other destination.

I used to be a hardcore St.Croix guy until their better rods started costing $200 plus. Now I just want good rods for a fair price - I don't care where the come from.

vern, I don't have the answer in front of me but it's a simple matter to find out. Just call Bass Pro's toll-free number. The customer service people can give you country of origin info, and can do up a mock order that will automatically calculate the duty charges for you. Only takes a few moments, and from there you can make your own decision whether to go ahead or not.

If you'd rather not bother, re-post and I'll find out where they're made for you. Good luck,

Mike

Steve, I know on another post you mentioned that you are in a local Bass Pro Shops store quite frequently. Out of all the good rods they have in stock, which one do you feel is the most sensitive and highest quality?
