pinpoint 7500, 7800

I see that Cabela's has both of these units on sale now and I was wondering if they can be used as stand alone or do they have to be matched up with a Pinpoint trolling motor. I like my Maxxum to much to get rid of it so I hope I can us them alone. One more question, is the 7500 quite a bit better than the 7800 and what is the difference between the 00 series and the 20 series. Thanks for the help. Porter

The models ending in "00" must be teamed up with a PinPoint trolling motor (cannot be standalone). Models ending in "20" can be standalone.

Both of these units can only be used with a Pinpoint trolling motor. The 7520 and 7820 are stand alone units.
