what rod would you guys use of these two? mostly for flat line trolling crankbaits, and maybe bouncers? I dont know much at all about eglass rods.but mostly what im looking for is two good trolling rods, and two good bouncer rods,I was thinking of staying with cabelas rods because they have been good to me so far. also i would like to know what reels should be used on each!
I have heard that for bouncing a flippin switch levelwind reel works good, but im not sure. any information would be helpful thanks

I like fiberglass rods for trolling plugs, but I like a pretty sensitive graphite rod for bouncers (others might disagree) because I feel like I need to sometimes feed line to shy biters. I favor long rods for both.

I definitely like the flipping switch for lowering the bouncers, but you can do fine without it too-- just need to use your other hand or your chin or something to engage the handle, so it's not quite as one-handed.

I Ditto Starfish's reply 100%.
I do not use the same rod for trolling cranks as I do bottom bouncing. This saturday I'm going to Cabelas and 1 item on my list is a Cabela's 6'6" XML Walleye series rod for jigging and/or bottom bouncing.

Cabela's Rods are good enough for me!
