I fish the winnebago system and right now the walleyes are not hitting probably due the large bait fish hatch in fall. I need to catch some walleyes or I am going to die. Anybody know where they are hitting now that isn't to far for me to drive. I live in Oshkosh and would like to keep the drive to under two hours if possible. But beggers cant be chosers. PLEASE HELP
Ifyou are willing to drive to Lake of the Woods you can limit out on both Walleyes and Saugers, we did Friday and Saturday. Call ahead though if you want to rent a house on the weekend as everyone is full. During the week you should have no problems getting a house. Morning and night bite foreyes in 16ft, during the day for sauger in 30ft. Roads are plowed and the ice is good. Crappies at upper Red Lake, Haudacks are biting too. Good luck FISHING......Kaz
