Just got back from Upper Red Lake fishing for crappies.
We went out of Houdec's and caught about 22 crappies between the
two of us. All the crappies were real respectable with two fish coming in about 1-1/2 a piece. Had a great trip and looking forward to getting up there again real soon. They have some nice roads plowed out to the areas and then from there you can travel very easy off the plowed roads with a 4 wheel drive anywhere to get away from a crowd. The bite seemed best from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Steve: Good to hear that. I blew by there on Monday, should of stopped. Some of the guys I talked to a Adrians said they were stopping on Monday, but I haven't talked to them to see how they did. They really fixed that place up since last year. They must be making some money, FINALLY. Did they re-do the bar too. It needed it. That is really comming on as a good fishery. Good luck FISHING...Kaz
