The slush has been bad and the fish have been short. Knowone has been driving out. That really keeps the masses away. the ice is THIN in the deeper slush pockets and thats the reason few fishermen even want to take an ATV. Maybe with the warm weather the snow will settle some and refreeze. Some of the slush was up to the tops of the boots, makes for hard walking. Theres a path out of Barnums and Wilderness for a ways but after that I was tough going.
