I subscribed to Walleye Central Magazine sometime around a year ago and received either one or two issues and nothing after that. Repeated contact was met with the same explanation as either being in print or going out shortly. Haven't seen anything of the other editions yet. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, miket!

OK, can't dodge this one.
It's all my fault, I just bit off more than I could handle. The website, the magazine a full time job and trying to get a few tournaments in there was just too much and the magazine slipped.
No excuses, I know it's a bad deal. I have your money and I'm not giving you what you purchased. I understand completely.
Here's the deal. I've hired a person to help with the magazine, I'm told it is almost ready to go to print. Probably around the end of this month.
Anyone wanting a full refund, not a problem. I will understand completely and harbor no hard feelings.
If you guys and gals can wait it out, we'll get it to you in a more timely manner in the near future.
Everyone will get the number of issues they signed up for, it's just going to take longer than I or you planned.
So, there it is.
Sometimes I wish I'd given a little more thought to my answer when I was asked "hey, you should start a magazine". Seemed like a good thing at the time. ;-)
I apologize for all the problems, it's all my fault and I accept full responsiblilty.
Anyone wanting refunds, my email address is: scott@walleyecentral.com
Those planning on sticking it out, it's gonna get better. I promise.

That took class, man. I don't get the magazine now, but I think I'll take out a subscription. Anything has to be better than last month's Walleye In-Sider.
Thanks Scott for the explanation. I will wait it out, no problem.tr

Hey Scott, no apology needed. I am in the publishing business and am currently publishing two new industry mags, I know how hard it is. Your not some corporation trying to screw a bunch of people out of their $10. I would gladly pay for a subscription just keep this web page up and running, the magazine is a bonus. I have learned more in the last year from WC than the prior four years since I started fishing for Walleye's. Not to mention some of the nice people I have met thru this site. One of the Publications we started lost almost 2 million dollars before we finally made it work, luckily my boss had deep pockets.
Possibly the last two In-Fisherman!
I'm still here today, tomorrow and a year from now. I'll wait. First of all based on the first ones, it will be worth waiting for and second, as one of the other responders stated, if it helps support this site then its also worth waiting for.
Thanks for the honesty,
ufda

Working for a magazine is a full-time job, no doubt. I worked for a semi-monthly (twice a month) magazine for five years, and out group of 20 worked long, hard, stressful hours. Man, I'm glad I write freelance now!!

Hey Scott,
Bill Clinton should have been as honest and upfront as you have been with us. Maybe you could offer honest and integrity seminars to career politicians in your FREE TIME!!!
