Me and a few friends went out of Catawba State park on Sunday and caught 5 walleyes. 4 came on Blue/Silver Little Cleo's, and 1 came on a #7 Silver Swedish Pimple. Also, I was wonder if there is a taxi service that would take you out to the fish. 3 and 1/2 miles one way is a long way to walk.

Thanks

hey biggg,

In the "Lake Erie Walleye" magazine published a few years ago there was a guide in there that had an old pick up truck and would take people around for a small fee, the book is out in my car but I will get the name of the guy and where he is out of and post it tomorrow. I dont know if he still does it but its worth a try. I was up there a few weeks ago and hiked out there about 2 miles dragging a sled and it was no fun at all.

Bigggcountry, The only guy I know of who did this is Lenny Banyak . His number is 419-734-6155. There are probably more, just give some a call.

Yep Lenny Banyak is the guy I was talking about in the book, it was copywrite 1996- it says for $5 he will take you and bring you back, but Im sure the price is higher but trust me, Pay it because it is no fun walking out there a few miles dragging a sled full of gear expecially as rigid as the is ice.- good luck and if you get in touch with Mr Banyak please let us know the details of the service.
