Since we're plugging web sites here, I may as well join in the game.

Go to

http://www.sauger.com/river/waalkens/

to find out about Loren Waalkens Guide Service. Loren is a truly excellent multi-species angler. In addition to walleye, lm bass and catfish, Loren also provides exciting Mississippi River fly fishing trips for smallmouth. He lives right in Lake City, MN and has a link to the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, of which he's a member, right on the front of his site. All the motel and restaurant information you need can be found there.

Coincidentally, Loren is also a top notch musky guide and he is featured on the front of muskiecentral.com this month. Loren's knowledge of the Mississippi River is also featured in 2 episodes of Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen this winter.
