Fairport Harbor or Conneat or Edgewater fishing?

Is there any action through the ice around these places? Thanks in advance. iFish

Hey I Fish,
The Ohio folks are working on the piers and ramps at Edgewater and nobody is doing anything there.
I suggest the other two marinas and Neff Rd. at E. 185th St. as an alternative spot for smelt fishing through the ice around sunset.
Fish 4 to 6 feet deep with maggots on 2-4 pound test line and use a Coleman lantern to attract them.
I use number 10 or 12 hooks on small luminescent jigs woth the best success. Gold and silver also does O>K>
