River eye don't want to give bad info, I don,t know the river at all, but I do know one thing, if there's eye,s try at nite.Look for points, rock piles, fallen tree's, lights. To catch them, look for strong to moderate current with slack or calm water(ussually caused by the above mentioned)when I nitefish I use 1/4 oz lead jigs with white or pearl soft plastic tails also try floating minnow baits.FISH VERT SLOW & STEADY CAST & retrieve, also catch most in very shallow water, 1ft to 5ft. Give it atry and let me know how you do.P.S. there are lots of other factors that determine when and where they will be, just go and you will learn and probably get yourself hooked. If you have any other questions about day or nite Ill help if I can.wish I was there!!! GOODLUCK GOOD FISHIN
