Olfs, I Have fished Rice Lake off and on for 20 years. Where are you staying? Rice lake is a big place. I know the center section of the lake pretty well.

Brad, thanks for the respose. My brother-in-law put this together so all I know is what the web site says. It is the Southview Resort and it is in BaileBoro, Ontario, near Petersborough. The web site says it is on the North shore which probably doesn't narrow it down that much. I will find further info. on their location.

I'm not sure about presentation in May, as we've been going there in July for the past 10 years. I do know that you won't catch pike though--I've never seen one , caught one, or heard of one caught there in the decade I've been there. The ODNR told me there are no pike in Rice Lake. You may have a chance to catch muskie, and some nice size walleye though. Have a great trip--and don't forget to try the river mouths at that time of year.
