I spent the afternoon at the Chicagoland Fishing, Hunting, Travel, Luggage, Super Glue, Gadget, and Outdoors Show. It's gotten a bit smaller again this year but we still had a good time making the rounds and even managed to find a few good deals. We spent about 2 hrs visiting the fishing portion and a few minutes more on a "walk-thru" of the rest. I wouldn't travel a great distance to see it but if you have nothing else to do and want to part with $11 for parking and $7 to get in the door, it's not all bad!

You didn't sign a long term contract for periodic shipments of "fine" wine or, perhaps, get your spine checked by a chiropractor while you were there, did you? Did they have the battery operated swimming lure demonstration? Buy a five foot long blow gun?
Geez, flea market and outdoor show all rolled into one! I love this show!! (LOL)
PS- don't get suckered into those timeshare condominium contracts.
