Flaming Gorge

OK, I know there are no walleye, but it is winter and time for dreams. I want to try Flaming Gorge Reservoir for the giant lakers this year (also supposed to have lots of smallmouth to go with the trout). Anyone have any experience there? Best times to go, places to fish, lures to use for the lakers? I have fly fished the river below the dam for years, but never have tried the lake itself. Any info appreciated.
