Storm Lightnin shad

Does anyone know if the storm lightnin shad line has been discontinued. I don't see them in the Bass pro or the cabelas catalog.

I'm pretty sure they're discontinued. They were marked as clearance at the S.E. Michigan Bass Pro last weekend.

I must be behind the curve! I just started using them this summer and caught most of my walleye with them. I will purchase them until they run out.

From what I understand from both posts and sales represntatives Normark is putting all of the Storm line of baits through a "revamp". They are allegedly remaking all the baits to "improve" them, the reason you saw them on clearance was that they are being out dated by the new ones so they are liquidating supplies of the older versions.

I just bought a bunch of the new storm thundercranks today. They are pretty much like the new tail dancer rapala's I think. Look like they should be alright. The number 8 size is the same length as a number 7 shad rap.

in western pennsylvania they have been discounted for about 6 months at local big lot stores. i don't know if they are in your area but i think they were $1.98 apiece. there were still some there 10 days ago
