How are the ice conditions on the Lakes? I plan on going fishing this weekend. Any good fishing reports?

Fished Ft Thompson below the dam last Saturday. Great bite going.

Depends on what part of the state you are referring to but in NE SD most lakes still have in excess of 2 feet of ice but travel is still quite difficult due the depth of the snow which is now turning to slush.
There's still lots of ice, but there's getting to be alot of water standing on the ice on the well used trails. I'm starting to get spooked that it's softening the ice. We fished Waubay last weekend, it was a bumpy, long ride out, and the fishing wasn't that great.
