Went to the snag-fest yesterday afternoon 4:00 till dark. The nice weather brought out lots of boats no fish though. Saw one small one caught out of maybe 50 boats. My first time there by the Edison plant. Man, what a funky bottom! Nothing like upstream at G.L Steel. Lost lots of jigs.

Water is dirty...Was out yesterday and got 3 males.Still a little early for the REEL action.Hand-lining seems to be the best ,But still SLOW.

Went out after work Friday night, water clarity is NOT dirty. I would consider it slightly stained. Granted I was handlining, but did catch 9 males. Apparently no numbers of females have moved in. I saw the jiggers doing fairly well also. Water temperature is still in the upper thirties. No ice flows, still junk floating down (probably will for another couple of weeks). Fish were scattered from Celeron Island up to Elizabeth park.

All males were nice size (3 - 5 lbs), but released them - still have fish from the freezer, in case anti-spawner catching/eating fisherpeople are reading this!
