Off-Shore springs for tattle flag

I know this question has been answered before but for the life of me, I can not find it in the Archives. I want a stronger spring for my Tattle tale flag for when I'm using Leadcore and/or deep divers. What's the number of your prefered spring for this application and at what hardware store chain do you get it? Thanks for the help.

Going from memory here, so someone kindly verify, but I think it was C-73 springs at Coast to Coast. Good fishing.

add a rubber band to the flag and loop it around the front of the board, you can play with the tension or rubber band size as needed. It can also replace the spring.
tight lines
